Portland Urban Oasis
This is the ever evolving garden at Larkspur Design. We are always out in the garden “editing” the space. Why? Because as our plants grow and evolve, sometimes they need to be moved, replaced, pruned, divided…. Gardens are always a learning experience and have so much to teach us!
In this garden we’re trying to provide habitat for garden creatures such as birds and frogs, by incorporating a water source, nesting habitat, and by planting shrubs that produce berries for bird foraging. Even in an urban setting, we’re able to provide a home for wildlife!
